Factory Settings were heavily involved in the design development of Video Games and formed a uniquely trusting and collaborative relationship with exhibition designer Pernilla Ohrstedt architects. The development period highlighted the need for pragmatic solutions that did not veer from the highly tuned design intent - normative aspects of exhibition design were discarded in favour of radical approaches to everything from how a wall must be constructed to how a fabric projection screen can be made. This highlighted the best aspects of the contractor / designer relationship, allowing us to deliver far more complex elements in a shorter space of time than we can usually accommodate with a more traditional and less flexible arrangement.
